| My Pottery Barn/West Elm Inspired Living Room |
We have recently updated our living room, and have chosen chocolate brown and icy blue for the colors (also the colors of our bedroom). Since many of you have known about my plans to copy the look of a certain Pottery Barn living room, here is a picture of some of the results. |

| Newest Member of Fipps Household |
This is Madeline Patience Fipps, our 15 month old DRAMA QUEEN! She is either delightfully happy or throwing herself on the ground in despair. We are definitely going to have our hands full with two dramatic teenagers someday. Madeline still has no hair, however what little hair she has gives her security - she twirls it in her fingers to go to sleep (so cute!!!). |

This is our delightful Maggie. Just turned three on March 17th. She is quite the articulate talker, and is learning new things so fast. Her most recent accomplishments are learning to read (small three letter words), and memorizing the camp staff's Scripture Memory requirements for this summer ("Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnessess..."). We can't wait for her to get up at Staff Training this summer and rattle off most of the chapter. Okay, sorry for bragging, but I'm quite sure that her genius status is most definitely a gracious gift from God, and certainly not something received from either of her parents. It also gets her in trouble, since she has been arguing intelligently since most kids were learning to say "da da." |

This is the most recent picture I have of all of us, however, since this time (only a couple of weeks) I have lost 10+ pounds!! Not to toot my own horn, but come on, give me some props!! |

| The Fipps Family Joins the Blog World |
| Well, here I am with my first blog entry. I have mocked my friends for long enough, and now I am too anxious to show off pictures of our cute kids, etc., so I have decided to start a Fipps Family blog. I have also just lost all of my friends' e-mail addresses, so I figure this might be a good way to get back in touch. |
