A Visit With Grandma and Grandpa
On our way home from our 2 week Christmas travels, we stopped by my grandparents house in Michigan. They had not seen Robbie yet, so it was really nice to be able to see them for a little bit. We were there for less than 24 hours, but we had a really nice time.

Maggie & Madeline showing Grandma the calendar we made for them.

Grandpa and Robbie

Robbie loved Grandma's back-rubs. She always gives babies back-rubs, and Robbie was a big fan!!

The Wedding of Jonathan & Sarah Farmer
I was so honored to be in Sarah Ice's wedding. She has been a friend, but also a amazing spiritual encouragement and challenge. It was a beautiful wedding, and Sarah was gorgeous! Congratulations Sarah and Jonathan!!!!

It was also great to see our good friends, Josh and Liz Pegram, while we were there. We miss them and would love for them to come work at camp again...hint, hint!!:)

A Visit With Some Old Friends

Brett & Elizabeth Ingalls worked with us at Camp for two summers before moving out to California to work in a ministry there. They were in Anderson visiting Liz's sister, so we got to see them for dinner one evening. It was fun seeing their little guy for the first time - what a cutie!

New Year's Eve
This is our fourth year to celebrate New Year's Eve with Jamin & Mel Jantz and Will & Lisa Messier. It is always so great to be able to have almost two days to catch up with these awesome college friends. This year we went to Miyabi's Japanese Restaurant and then spent the night at Will & Lisa's house in Greer, SC. It was so much fun!

The Guys: Jamin, Rob and Will
The Girls: Lisa, Me and Mel

The three of us girls - huddled together on the porch, trying to keep warm, while the boys played with their fireworks...good times!

Toasting the New Year with our Sparkling Pomegranate Juice

We all stayed up until 4:30am...but Ellie (Mel and Jamin's baby) slept!

Trying Out Their New Smart Rider

Madeline's really good at peddling backwards!! Maggie absolutely LOVES it! She wants to do it all the time, although she says, "It wears me out!" I would highly recommend this for all of you in cold Winter climates...great indoor exercise for our kiddos!

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa's
This Christmas with my parents was so special...My parents have been in job/housing transitions for the past couple of Christmases, so it was so nice being able to celebrate with them in their very own house in Anderson, SC. Mom had it decorated beautifully, as usual, and she even had a special surprise for the girls - their room was filled with all of my old books, toys, dolls, games and puzzles. It meant soooo much to me to have all that stuff there for my kids, and to watch them playing with it. I am so thankful for my parents.

Mom's Beautiful Tree

"The stockings were lined up by the entertainment center with care..."

Mom and Dad loved their calendar as you can tell by my mom's expression...it says it all!

Mom and her babies!! (Maggie was not feeling good in this picture, as you can tell!)

Playing with their new Lincoln Logs...we must build a house for our Polly Pockets!!
Maggie telling Robbie what his present was!
My dad's expression was priceless when he saw that we had gotten him a new digital camera for Christmas!! I love this picture.
The girls LOVED playing in "their room" with all my toys. They were in there all the time!!!
