Stop, In the Name of Love...
Maggie asked me to take this picture of her singing/performing, however, I think her song choice was something like "I'm a Little Teapot."

September 2006 vs. May 2007

Maggie asked me to take some pictures yesterday of her and Madeline laying on some shelves in our kitchen. As I was about to post them, I realized that I had posted some similar pictures back in September 2006, so I decided to post both and compare them. The top two are from September 2006, and the bottom two are from May 2007. Madeline definitely has more hair!!

My Latest "Creations"
I found these "patches/embellishments" at Walmart for $.25-.50 (on Clearance), and have been decorating some of my Goodwill finds for Maggie. The jeans and jean jacket I had bought at Goodwill for next winter, and the t-shirt I got at Children's Place last year for $1.00. Just thought I would show you my latest "hobby."

Ready for Church
Here's Maggie in one of my "bargain outfits." I love getting good deals, and this little outfit was one of them. Shirt (1/2 price at Goodwill:$1.00), skirt (end of summer sale at Children's Place last year: $2.00), and shoes ($.50 at a yard sale). Right now I am in the process of buying her clothes for this coming Winter.
I was playing around on Photoshop...still trying to figure out how everything works.

A Pregnant Picture and Other Randomness...
And now...just three weeks before my due date, I have decided to finally post a pregnant picture of myself since so many have asked...this is mostly for my relatives who have never seen me in all my pregnant-bliss! Check out those swollen ankles...and swollen everything else.
Here is Rob and Maggie at the airport before they left for their "Daddy & Maggie" get-away! Maggie was sooooo excited!!!
Off to their plane...
Carissa and I ate at the Cheesecake Factory in Milwaukee...oh, what a chore to have to take Rob and Maggie to Milwaukee with one of my closest friends and none of our kids!!! We managed to sneak some good food and shopping into our agenda for the drive back!!

Robbie's Nursery, Our Fun Weekend and My Two Ballerinas
Here are the long-awaited pictures of Robbie's nursery. It is pretty much finished now...if I can let my perfectionist side stop changing things! I am really happy with how it turned out. Especially since it is the cheapest nursery I have ever decorated. This time I just decided to go with a color scheme...without buying an expensive crib set...pretty much did everything with two containers of paint and a few things from Ikea. Maggie contributed to much of the decorations. I had her paint some pictures for the room, as well as to draw a picture of our family - all of which I framed. Definitely cheap decor!

Maggie's artwork on the wall...mine on the table!
Maggie's artwork mixed with some framed cards.

Maggie's drawing of our family.
Maggie's masterpiece. She wasn't too happy with it...wonder where she gets her perfectionism from?!

Madeline and I had such a fun weekend together...just the two of us. Rob had to go to Ohio for the weekend, so he decided to make it a "Maggie and Daddy weekend." They flew down on Friday, stayed in a nice hotel together, went to a children's museum, ate the largest desserts the restaurants offered, and "did whatever we wanted" (Maggie quote of the weekend). Maggie was so excited to be on a trip with just her daddy. I am so glad that they got to do that before camp starts, the new baby arrives, etc., and I am so thankful for a husband who is so eager to invest in the lives of our children. He is the BEST!!! I got to spend Friday in Green Bay/Milwaukee shopping with my good friend Carissa...we lived it up at the Cheesecake Factory, and hit the thrift stores...very fun times! Then, on Saturday, Madeline and I spent the whole day in the big town of Iron Mountain...McDonalds was probably the highlight of the day for us!! It was so nice being able to spend time alone with "my baby."
My friend Julie gave the girls this "Angelina Ballerina" dress-up dress that her girls grew out of. The girls had so much fun taking turns today wearing it and dancing around the house like ballerinas - kind of!! These pictures describe it all!!

Random Pictures of the Girls...
My friend, Julie Smith, took these first few pictures when she was watching the girls for me the other day. They were making brownies, and having way too much fun eating the batter! I love these pictures!!! Definite future poster prints!!!

The next couple pictures are from Wednesday night. We have three girls who ride with us every Wednesday night for church: Shannon Wesley, Genny Homontowski, and Andrea Blaha. We have so much fun with them, and Maggie & Madeline just love them. Genny and Andrea are Maggie and Madeline's teachers on Wednesday night, and they do such a good job teaching them the Bible. Shannon works with the older kids. We will miss them this summer!
